Muir Valley Annual Parking Permit
On-line application and purchase
This $120 parking permit is a convenience for you climbers who frequent Muir Valley and wish to avoid stopping to pay at each visit. If you come more than 12 times per year, you are also saving money compared to the day fee of $10 per car. The charge for this 2016 calendar year permit will not be prorated, so buy your permit early in the season to get maximum benefit.
Your fee helps to cover Muir's many expenses necessary to provide it's climbing visitors with conveniences, such as restrooms and secure parking, to help maintain one of this country's finest climbing preserves, and to continue ongoing enhancements.
You may use your permit when arriving in your own vehicle or another's. It is not transferable to other persons. You must be in the car for your permit to be valid. You will be sent a photo I.D. card to put on your vehicle's dashboard when entering or parked in one of Muir's lots.
2016 Permits go on sale now and will be valid March 1 (when paid parking starts at Muir Valley) through December 31, 2016.
A reminder that this fee is charged for parking only. There is no admission fee for entering, climbing, hiking, and enjoying nature in Muir Valley.
